The sky was performing this morning! I'm so glad that to have had a moment to rush over to the beach today before the rain came! These clouds blew me away! Looking forward to putting these to paint some day soon.

These recent paintings have cheered up a long winter! The top two are close friends with their children. It means so much to me to be trusted with the job of expressing a special memory through paint. I hope that the paintings will be appreciated and cherished as family heirlooms for years to come. It warmed my heart to see one of my friends cry as she opened up the special gift that her husband had planned for her. The women in the hat is another dear friend who posed for me last summer. The delight on on her face when she saw the work filled my heart with joy. I also loved painting the two water pieces, these were a fun stretch for me to take my mine away from the Long Island cold by drawing upon inspiration from Australia and Jupiter Florida.
