ARTIST STATEMENT
Award-winning artist Christine D’Addario was educated at The College of Saint Rose where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Christine worked as the Art Director creating a wide range of media materials for the family owned world class music accessories brand D’Addario & Company, Inc. After giving birth to her twin girls Christine was inspired to transition into her true passion of fine art. Christine adores painting with oils and started at the very young age of five. She combines her passion and talent to create lively figurative and coastal scenes. Her goal is to convey the alluring character of Long Island’s East End by capturing the essence and peace that comes from a summer day spent at the beach. Christine is a member of the historic Salmagundi Art Club in New York City where she exhibits her work in their state of the art Greenwich Village brownstone galleries and was selected to serve as a juror for exhibitions. Christine paints all year round either plein air or in her elegant manor home studio in Locust Valley, NY.
